She is a consultant psychiatrist with 5 years of experience in the field, currently working in SCARF,Chennai. Her areas of interest include general adult psychiatry- schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder, OCD with focus on prevention, rehabilitation and finding paths after mental illness. She is also a very creative person and gifted in writing Tamil poetry.
